Some, of the world's largest companies including DuPont, AstraZeneca, and MBNA are headquartered in Delaware. Many others are incorporated here due to the state's generous corporate laws. Attractive tax structures, proximity to shipping and transport plus a good work force all contribute to the areas continuing economic growth.

Delaware's climate is moderate year round. Average monthly temperatures range from 75.8 to 32 degrees. Average temperature for summer months is 74.3 degrees. About 57% of the days are sunny.
