Built in 1891 as the summer home of Nova Scotia born Aaron Flint Churchill who became an international sea hero in 1866 and went on to become one of the most prominent and successful businessmen of Savannah Georgia U.S.A.

Visited only occasionally by the owners from 1891 to 1981, the Mansion remains relatively untouched and to this day contains much of the original décor.

In 1981 The Mansion was opened as a commercial Country Inn; welcoming guests from around the world for the past twenty-seven years. Traditionally, from May thru November we offer overnight guests a choice of eight unique rooms and suites.

Revenue for this commercial property depends on the ambition and imagination of the owners and/or operators. Year round income is currently enjoyed from the two apartments and cottage with additional revenue from two other units in the winter months if desired.
