This summer rental property is located on St. Mary's Bay in Southwestern Nova Scotia. It is right on the ocean and is in a very private location. There are over 8 beautiful acres of land along the shore and stunning views of St. Mary's Bay. The yard is full of apple trees, roses, gardens, and flowering shrubs.

A small studio on the property matches the architecture of the house and there is extensive decking around the house and the studio. This cottage is two stories, has two bedrooms, a kitchen, bath, and a living room and sleeps four. The master bedroom, a beautiful loft with a cathedral ceiling, track lighting and a ceiling fan, is located on the second level. It offers the most magnificent view of the bay in the daytime with glimpses of seals and an occasional eagle. At night, you see the stars and a few lights shining from the small communities on Digby Neck. The rental property is very romantic with magnificent sunsets.

If you want to be in a place of privacy, sheer beauty and peace and quiet, then you will enjoy this cottage. Have your coffee in the morning, in front of the studio overlooking the ocean, sitting in a big Adirondack chair!

For those with artistic interests this place is a must.

Weekly rate is $1,475.00 USD. 50% is required 30 days before booking date along with a $300.00 USD security deposit. Balance of 50% is required 1 week before booking date.

The Location

This property is just minutes from the Village of Weymouth where you can do light shopping or go on a kayak tour. It is 25 minutes from Digby where you can go golfing at the Digby Pines Golf Course, catch the ferry to Saint John, New Brunswick, eat in one of the many restaurants offering the best and freshest seafood available or shop in the quaint stores on Water Street.

Whale watching and deep sea fishing are an hour or less away and Digby Neck a famous bird watching area. Make sure to take a drive to Bear River to view the vineyards, do some wine tasting and visit the many artists studios there.

While at this summer rental location you are 45 minutes from Yarmouth with the ferries to Portland and Bar Harbour, Maine and the airport (see NEW! in Extras). In 2.5 hours you can be at the Stanfield (Halifax) International Airport.
